Full Professor, Group Coordinator

Bogdan Mocan is a Full Professor at the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, and the coordinator of the IXD Research Group. His research focuses on human-machine interaction, cardiac rehabilitation robotics, industrial robotics and automation, and the servitization of manufacturing systems. He has led numerous national and international research projects and maintains active collaborations with industry partners across Europe.
Bogdan Mocan teaches courses on Human-Machine Interaction, Industrial Robotics, and Innovation Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He supervises doctoral students and collaborates with industry partners on applied research and teaching case studies.

Mircea Fulea is an Associate Professor at the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, and a core member of the IXD Research Group. His research spans industrial software design, servitization, interaction design principles applied to process improvement, and sustainability in manufacturing. He has co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and participated in multiple national and international research projects.
Mircea Fulea teaches courses on Industrial Software Design, Servitization, and Interaction Design at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has supervised numerous bachelor's and master's theses with a practical focus on usability and industrial software development.
